I’m getting pretty inclined to say that the division between underground v. mainstream, west v. east, north v. south, etc, was maybe the thing that was holding back rap the most in the last decade. Highly anticipated.

The homie kechPhrase made a wicked remix of one of my favorite songs to ever rap “Nigga U Ain’t Fat” from my 2010 debut album RABDARGAB. I used to get a lot of funny looks here in the Texas, the land of the big niggas, for not being as husky as my name implies. Most of the time when I showed up for shows a few years ago people would be shocked to see I’m not a huge Ruben Studdard lookin’ ass nigga. When your name is Fat Tony, you’re either too fat or not fat enough. This song is all about that plus my own (and others) struggles with being large and in charge as a grade school boy. Enjoy my Naija brother’s very ill remix and reminisce on your own youth.

In other news, Antwon dropped End of Earth not so long ago.
