“Flight Confirmation” / The Alchemist (2012)

More goodness between Black Hippy and Danny Brown. Unlike the last meeting, “Terrorist Threat,” Alchemist lays down an atypically bright backing for the collaboration. The beat knocks -with blaring synths over soul goodness. Brown and Q play their parts; rapping really well, kicking adlibs, etc. While the track feels a little unfinished, that maybe adds to the charm -it’s a great no concept banger.
